Anything to help, but my main aim is to ensure you are happy, smiling and have a stress free wedding day!

You may have heard the job of a wedding co-ordinator to be described as ‘On the Day’. Personally, I feel this is not the best description, as I am here for you for so much more than just ‘On the Day’. Let’s face it, it would be impossible for me to turn up on the day and expect to know what I’m doing, I also wouldn’t know where anything is or who anyone was. So, let me explain how I will help you along your wedding planning journey, as well as on your big day.

BEFORE YOUR BIG DAY

  • First things first, when you have decided you need the help of a wedding co-ordinator GET IN TOUCH. Once we have exchanged contact details, we can organise a video or phonecall to chat through your wedding plans. It’s really important you feel comfortable with me before entrusting me with your big day, so this is a good opportunity for us to get to know each other.
  • After our initial call, if you decide I am the perfect fit to help you with your wedding, then just let me know. With your go ahead, I will write up your agreement and send it over with your deposit invoice and a copy of my T&Cs for you to read through. Once your deposit is received and your agreement is signed, then you are all booked in and your wedding date is secure.
  • From this point and up until your big day, I will be there for you to answer any questions you might have and to help relieve any stresses you might be feeling. I can also help recommend trusted suppliers from my extensive list of awesome suppliers I have worked with over the years.

  • When you feel most of your plans are in place, whether it’s 6 months before or 6 weeks before, then let me know and we can organise a ‘Time-Plan’ video call. On this call, we will chat about every little detail so I can make a start on writing up your time-plan. Some couples find chatting through their plans some time in advance more helpful, as it means they have a document to work with and helps to focus on what they still need to do. Whatever works best for you, I am here to help make your wedding planning easier and less stressful.

  • One month before your big day, I will get in touch with your wedding suppliers to say ‘Hi’ and introduce myself, as well as to check we both have the same information to ensure your big day runs smoothly. I will also send over your finalised time-plan to those suppliers it might be useful for, such as, the caterer, photographer, videographer and bar.
  • As your big day draws nearer, we will organise a venue visit so you can show me around and where everything is. This maybe the day before your wedding, it maybe a few weeks before your wedding, it really depends on where your wedding is taking place. For example, if you are getting married in a marquee in your garden then it makes more sense for me to visit when the marquee is up and everything is in place. However, if you are getting married in a hotel or a wedding venue, then it maybe we can look around in the weeks before, so I can get a feel for the venue and meet with the venue manager. I am flexible to fit with whatever works best for you and your type of wedding.

"When we started to find the whole process of planning the wedding a bit overwhelming, we were recommended Tasha by one of our suppliers. Enlisting her services turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Very quickly, she helped us to get back on track, taking real effort to get to know us and ascertain exactly how we wanted the wedding to go. Tasha proved to be a real godsend in the months and weeks leading up to our big day. She came up with an incredibly detailed time plan for our wedding and asked all sorts of questions about details that we hadn’t even considered. This meant that we could have time to think and make sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it".

ON THE DAY

Now we have talked about how I will support you in the run up to your big day, let’s talk about how I will help you on your big day itself. With everyone’s wedding being so different and with so many jobs that need doing, it is very hard to list everything I do. In order to help you understand how I can help, here is a general list of jobs I get up to, but my time-plans will always be tailored to each of my couples and the help that they need.

I WILL...

I WILL...

I WILL...

  • Bring one of my experienced team members with me, meaning there will be two of us to co-ordinate your special day.
  • Meet with your suppliers and check they are happy and be their port of call on the day.
  • Put out any last minute décor, such as favours on the tables, signs, table and place names.
  • Make sure you are both in the right place at the right time, fluff your dress and help with timings down the aisle.
  • Greet your guests and answer any questions they might have and be on hand to help if they need me.
  • Set up the welcome drinks ready to pour and serve after your ceremony.
  • Control your music if you are using playlists for your ceremony, welcome reception and wedding breakfast.

  • Make sure any lights are on and candles are lit.
  • Turn the room around by moving any tables and chairs.
  • Prompt for any timings, such as sitting for the wedding breakfast, speeches, cutting of the cake and the first dance.
  • Move the cake, cut it up (once you have cut it, of course) and put it out with your evening food.
  • Provide my emergency trolley for your sole use whilst I am with you. It is full of emergency items, such as deodorants, face wipes, cotton buds, scissors, cable ties, a sewing kit, sanitary products and loads more!
  • Ensure every little aspect of your day runs smoothly and to your time-plan.
  • Deal with any hiccups that may occur during the day, meaning you don’t need to worry about a thing and can just enjoy your day with your friends and family.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I AM THERE FOR THE TWO OF YOU AND TO HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING YOU MIGHT NEED, WHETHER IT'S REASSURANCE OR A JOB THAT NEEDS DOING...I WILL BE YOUR WEDDING DAY SIDEKICK!
